What's in store

So, what is via ferrata? It’s an adventure like no other—a guided climb along fixed routes in the mountains, where we’ll be attached to steel cables for safety. Somewhere between hiking and rock climbing, and with ladders, bridges, and other obstacles thrown in for good measure. It’s perfect for those looking to challenge themselves while soaking up nature’s beauty.

We’ll tackle the North Face Via Ferrata, a route that offers everything from suspended bridges to natural rock paths. As we climb, we’ll be rewarded with stunning views over the Vicdessos Valley in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees.

Cost

  • €46

This includes access to the site and rental of all the necessary via ferrata gear—harness, safety equipment, and helmets.

Please note

  • A minimum of 5 participants is needed for the trip to go ahead.

  • Travel isn’t included, but I’m happy to help coordinate carpooling.

  • The trip depends on good weather. If it’s rescheduled and you can’t make the new date, I’ll refund your payment.

Who's welcome?

The North Face Via Ferrata is known for its ‘airy’ nature, so if heights aren’t your thing, this might not be the right adventure for you. But if you’re ready to step out of your comfort zone and embrace the thrill, then come along!

This is a self-guided adventure, meaning we won’t have an official Via Ferrata guide with us. But don’t worry—we’ll have a team member who’s experienced in Via Ferrata joining us to support us on the day.
